Silo is a permanent public art installation that was commissioned for a new development in Westerville, OH. The form and color of the piece is reminiscent of brick silos that are scattered around the surrounding landscape, evidence of the history of farming in the area.

The piece is comprised of 3D printed ceramic blocks that are mortared together. The complex curving geometry leads to each block being unique, taking advantage of the affordances of this method of digital fabrication.
