We were commissioned by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to design the concrete patterning for the new sound barriers along a 2 mile stretch of highway (Route 28) located in the city of Pittsburgh. The rippled design of the pattern was inspired by the movement of the water on the Allegheny River, which is directly adjacent to the site.
